by giving that pseudo-religious nutball an opportunity to have a screaming match on fox, they are just providing her a bigger bullhorn through which to scream her hate. why do you think they continue to do things which are repugnant to people across the political spectrum? it's all about publicity and by doing stories about them and "interviewing" them the media does their bidding. they don't deserve anyone's attention. the courts are the place where this should be resolved.

I agree with you 100%. Giving them airtime (especially with MULTIPLE appearances on the same network, discussing the same topic) gives them exactly what they are looking for. WBC didn't get this much attention when they picketed Matthew Shepard's funeral, or any of the other hundreds of times they have attempted to spread their hate...why now? What makes this any different? In fact, the most interesting thing I have discovered by posting this clip is how many people didn't even know who Fred Phelps is. How can you fight an evil that people don't even know exists? So yes, I agree, Fox News shouldn't be giving them airtime...or, on the flip, they should have started giving them airtime the first time they spewed hatred in the name of religion, the first time they used the bible to hurt their fellow man. Every American, every person, should know that there are people like Fred Phelps in the world.
