Bravo Captain. After all, it's hard for me to get as hot under the collar about some Russian Minx with a doughnut wedding dress.

More Politics!

Um...I didn't say tell me what you want more of. I said share your favorite memories. Like, I liked that time we almost got the Hoff to number one. I also liked that time that the cousin of the guy who came up with "Fatwa Fridays" posted a comment. I liked that time that things were going badly, so we talked about Aaron Carter running over a mattress and catching his SUV on fire. Oh the memories...

We'll try to continue to keep a healthy balance.

I think the pickle video is one of my favorite memories...although the Hoff has proved to be a great pick me up. Oh, and anytime you post a Jon Stewart clip. As the headline said..I heart Jon Stewart.

George Allen gives it up like a girl on prom night! Freedom is on the march!

Well its a toss up for me between the kids stuck in the claw machines and the man hands.

p.s. - does anyone else think that little Caroline F. bears a striking resemblance to Suri Cruise?

Ooooh...Anon...Good call. Claw machine and man hands were pretty classic.

As an investigatory journalist I liked when I had to go under cover to find out the recipe for the health shake that enabled Pat Robertson to leg press 2,000 lbs. See the June 2006 archive if you missed that one.

P.S. Yes, Caroline F. DOES look a little (a lot) like Suri cruise. BUT, I can attest that Caroline F. is a real baby, Suri Cruise...not so much.

Thanks for the blog. It has helped me avoid doing work many many times.

P.S. I think that Caroline F. looks like her aunt Lulu more so than the fake Tomkitten.

My favorite posting was the one about where the younger Pete from Pete and Pete used illegal drugs in my dorm room in college. (true story) Oh wait! That can't be my favorite because Laurie refused to post it. I guess my favorite, then, would be the one telling the world I had a conversation with Bruce Willis at lunch and he thought I was a school girl. I told him I was a "worker" which was funny because I was right by the Hustler Club. (again, true story) Oh wait, LuLu refused to post that one too. I guess you can see that the celebrity themed postings are my favorites. However, I really like the mental image that LuLu gave us of chasing the kid around in the claw machine. I would definitely do that if I saw a kid stuck in one of those. C. Felds looks like her aunt candy shop.

My favorite blog was the one where George Allen had to concede like the little racist fucker that he is. Oh wait, we didnt blog about that one. But that still doesn't cheapen that moment for me.

(sorry LuLu, I know we agreed to not use profanities, but in G.A's case I think it's justified).

I also liked Fatwa Friday! Oh and when Lulu and I made up push poll questions.

I think my favorite blog post was when an anonymous poster was given a fake name.

Anon,
If you liked that so much, why dont you go by your GTB given name???

Huh??

I don't think the Anon who posted about the Anon is the real Anon. The real Anon can't post during the day. Hmmmm...a mystery. Look at all these Anon's posting on our blog! And people with pyramid schemes!

I liked it when Lulu told an anonymous writer responding to the celebration of halloween models that "heroes" was in fact not the best show on television...
I hate to admit that I have begun following celebrity news almost as much as I follow politics since I have started following your blog. I love it, keep up the good work!

lulu,
this is why the real anon needs to use a different name. It gets confusing.

Just like when NPR called that girl Maridith Mensen. Who is it really, I'm baffled?

I love everything about GTB (except the Hoff and when Scooter and Lulu leave the country together and choose not to plan their trip around internet cafes so they can keep blogging).

Maybe one day Scooter and Lulu will quit their day jobs to be professional bloggers. They're the best I know!

I have so many favorites - how can I pick just one? I really enjoyed "Hispanics Love Loud Music," in which Scooter had a really fabulously insulting conversation with a possible patron at his restaurant. I also loved the one where you could make your loved one's remains into diamonds (Lulu beware - remember Bucket LOVES jewelry!). I think what I have loved most of all about your posts are the photoshopped photos, which are usually brilliant and beyond the average Joe's imagination. Oh, and any picture that has Bush holding a baby. Those make my day. Congrats on the 100th posting, guys, and thank you for bringing such joy to some many peoples' lives!

far and away the german ATM/poop story, and lulu's creativity in contextualizing the incident for GTB's loyal readership.

though i couldn't help getting caught up in the post-election hoopla too... so we'll call that one my favorite in the political category. unfortunately i missed maradith mensen's NPR debut.

this is the best blog EVER. i am on a quest to get people who have never met either of you reading it religiously.

Caroline F. does look a little like Suri Cruise...the after effects, I'm sure, of Steve's reinactment of the Old Time Rock And Roll-Bob Seger-Risky Business scene at the Bullis talent show. And, yes, there is photographic evidence of this event. If I scan it can we put it up on the blog? :p
